Saying "Jesus loves everyone" is actually a tacit admission that sin has occurred. Does that mean Jesus accepts sinful behavior?
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ.
14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.
In a deliberate twisting of the Word, "gay" theology will say the Bible references to homosexuality, the laws, God's punishments, etc., are not for what they call "people born that way," but instead only apply to heterosexuals who disingenuously perform homosexual acts.
You hear Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, not because of sinful, lustful homosexual behavior, but because the people were "inhospitable." So, you ask, "God would rain 6000 degree fire and brimstone, totally obliterating everything, simply because the people were less than friendly?"
2 Peter 2:6-8
6 if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;
7 and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked
8 (for as that righteous man lived among them day after day, he was tormenting his righteous soul over their lawless deeds that he saw and heard);
Sounds a bit more serious than "unwelcoming."

Romans 1:32
Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things (see Romans 1:18-32) deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

James 1:13-15
13 When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;
14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.
15Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

Are we to judge or not?

Anti-Christians often try to cite the Bible as saying, "Thou shall not judge." Based on Sctipture below, it appears we are actually instructed to be judgemental in certain situations:

2 Timothy 4:1-4
1 I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom:
2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.
3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,
4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

1 Timothy 5:20
But those elders who are sinning you are to reprove before everyone, so that the others may take warning

When sinful behavior of any sort is addressed, most of us, at the very least, will acknowledge that we are indeed committing a sin. The only infractions which seem to elicit denial are those of unnatural sexual behavior or attractions.
We hear:
  • "It's not unnatural to me!"
  • "You are judging me. Jesus said not to judge."
    Surely, we are not to judge, as in "I judge that you shall be punished in Hell."
    But, just as surely, we are not to let others commit sins where we ignore or affirm what they do. We are to use the Scriptures to reprove, rebuke, administer reproof, exhort, admonish, teach and correct. These actions are often interpreted as "judging."

    The Bible is very clear on when to rebuke and when to be rebuked, and how we should handle each:
    Proverbs 27:5 - Better is open rebuke than hidden love.
    Proverbs 28:23 - Whoever rebukes a person will in the end gain favor, rather than one who has a flattering tongue.
    Imaging that! It's better to help correct than it is to affirm sinful behavior.
    Proverbs 13:18 - Poverty and disgrace come to him who ignores instruction, but whoever heeds reproof is honored.
    We are to correct those who stray from the Word, and in being corrected, are rewarded.

    2 Timothy 3:16-17
    16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
    17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

    Believers are instructed to "restore" other believers who have strayed:
    Galatians 6:1
    Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.

    Indeed, God commanded the people of Israel to speak to the wicked:
    Ezekiel 33:7-9
    7 "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.
    8 When I say to the wicked, 'You wicked person, you will surely die,' and you do not speak out to dissuade them from their ways, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.
    9 But if you do warn the wicked person to turn from their ways and they do not do so, they will die for their sin, though you yourself will be saved.
  • "What I do used to be a sin, but not anymore, since Jesus died for my sins."
  • Women were sold into slavery as wives, so we've changed God's definition of marriage.
  • "Who are you to talk? You are wearing a hat made of 2 different fibers. The Bible says that's a sin!"
    Christ fulfilled the ceremonial laws and we are now bound to Him and follow His Word and are released from the old way. He did not abolish the moral laws.
    Romans 7:1-6
    1 Do you not know, brothers and sisters-for I am speaking to those who know the law-that the law has authority over someone only as long as that person lives?
    2 For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him.
    3 So then, if she has sexual relations with another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man.
    4 So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.
    5 For when we were in the realm of the flesh, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death.
    6 But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

In reality, many LGBTQ people claim to be atheists and are often pro-abortion (the 2 go hand in hand when it comes to legislation. They are almost always on the same side in school health curriculum, discrimination, anti-bullying laws, etc.). Is it because they cannot accept a God who's laws are opposite of their beliefs? They have no need even for "gay theology."
Do they recognize that Pride is a deadly sin? Like the theft and pervertion of God's Rainbow, are they trying to spin a sin into a positive attribute?

Do you worship the Earth and a world view instead of God?

44 You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.

Redeeming the Rainbow

The homosexual movement usurped God's Rainbow, the symbol of His Covenant with Man not to destroy the Earth again with a global flood which He brought upon the people because of the very same wickedness of those who today, ironically and mockingly, use the rainbow as their symbol.

What God says about marriage:

Genesis 2:18-25
18 The Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."
19 Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name.
20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals. But for Adam no suitable helper was found.
21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs[g] and then closed up the place with flesh.
22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib[h] he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
23 The man said,
"This is now bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called 'woman,'
for she was taken out of man."
24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.
25 Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.

The Bible speaks only of man, woman, husband, wife. No variations or exceptions!
Ephesians 5:31
31 "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." Ephesians 5:33
33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Hebrews 13:4
4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. The Bible often separates Adultery and Immoral sex, showing they are 2 discrete subjects.

It's really hard for the "gay" theologists to get past these words!

What part of "man" and "woman" are they just not getting?

What Jesus says about marriage:

Mark 10:5-9, (also Matthew 19:4-6 & Genesis 2:24)
5 "It was because your hearts were hard that Moses wrote you this law," Jesus replied.
6 "But at the beginning of creation God 'made them male and female.'
7 "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,
8 and the two will become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one flesh.
9 Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate."

To quote Matt Barber:
Jesus did not say: "At the beginning the Creator made them lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT). For this reason a male, female or shemale will leave his, her or whatchahoozie's father and mother, father and father or mother and mother and be united to his or her wife � and/or husband � and the two or more will become one flesh. Not that there's anything wrong with that."

The Bible clearly distinguishes between and puts into context that of "man, woman, husband and wife." No mention of marriage and concerns for man and man, or woman and woman, or for multiple partners. When it's pointed out that 2 "married" men can't bear children of their own, "gay" theology is quick to say many heterosexual couples don't have children.
While marriage is for procreation, it is just as important if a couple is or becomes childless. A married couple (as defined above), in the eyes of the Lord, is two people joined together to make one.

13 And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him.
14 For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.
15 But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace.
16 How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?

Notice that "husband and husband" or "wife and wife" are not mentioned. Surely, if there is some kind of "equality" in same-sex relationships, that would have been covered. But, because homosexual acts are an abomination to God, they're not even considered.

* Again, this would be inclusive of all the sexually immoral sins as given in the laws to Moses

John 14:15
15 "If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

1 Thesolonians 4:3-8
3 It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality;
4 that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable,
5 not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God;
6 and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister. The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before.
7 For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.
8 Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit.

Paul, speaking to Christians:
Colossians 3:2-8
2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.
7 You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.
8 But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.
Note that old behaviors should be "put to death," meaning abandoned, if you are saved. The converse, then, would be true: If you continue the behaviors, salvation is not possible. Anyone practicing sexual deviance and claiming Jesus loves them "as they are" or "loves them with no expectation that they chould change" inspite of their sin, is not saved.

Genesis 19:3-5
3 But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate.
4 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom - both young and old - surrounded the house.
5 They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them."

Is it any wonder God unleashed his wrath on Sodom? In more modern times, Pompeii and Herculaneum are destroyed in a similar manner and every year reveals what would have brought about God's wrath on them. 2 Kings 23:7-8
7 And he broke down the houses of the male cult prostitutes who were in the house of the Lord, where the women wove hangings for the Asherah.
8 And he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests had made offerings, from Geba to Beersheba.
Note 2 things here: The sinners defiled the temple and always go into and defile the holiest of God's places.
Secondly, Asherah was the mother of all the false gods and they worshiped her in the temple, too, breaking the most important of the 10 commandments, the first: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."

Deuteronomy 22:5
5 "A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.

Galatians 5:19-21
19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

25 Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.

14 " 'If a man marries both a woman and her mother, it is wicked. Both he and they must be burned in the fire, so that no wickedness will be among you.
15 " 'If a man has sexual relations with an animal, he must be put to death, and you must kill the animal.
16 " 'If a woman approaches an animal to have sexual relations with it, kill both the woman and the animal. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

Judges 19:22
22 While they were enjoying themselves, some of the wicked men of the city surrounded the house. Pounding on the door, they shouted to the old man who owned the house, "Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him."

18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.
19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

2 Peter 2:6-10
6 if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;
7 and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless
8 (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)-
9 if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.
10 This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh[c] and despise authority.

Jude 1:7
7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

Ephesians 4:17-19
17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.
18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.
19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed.

Ephesians 5:3-5
3 But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints.
4 Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving.
5 For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

Revelation 21:6-8
6He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.
7Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.
8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

Is God pro-life?

Deuteronomy 30:19 - I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live.
Psalm 127:3 - "Truly children are a gift from the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward"
Ruth 4:13 - So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife; and when he went in to her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bore a son.
Psalm 139:13-17
13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!
Psalm 22:9-11 - Yet You are He who brought me forth from the womb; You made me trust when upon my mother's breasts. Upon You I was cast from birth; You have been my God from my mother's womb.
Jeremiah 1:5 - "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart"
Isaiah 44:24 - "Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb,"
Isaiah 49:5 - "And now says the Lord, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant,"
Leviticus 18:21 - Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molek (today's abortion), for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the Lord.
Abortion was considered the lesser of 2 evils yet was still murder. Today, abortion is celebrated! That is an even bigger sin before God
Exodus 20:13 - "You shall not kill"
Exodus 21:22-25 - 22 "If people are fighting and hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman's husband demands and the court allows. 23 But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise.
What's in the womb is a "baby, a child" - nothing less:
Luke 1:41, 44 - (where the "baby [John the Baptist] ... leapt for joy" in his mother's womb when the baby Jesus was nearby in Mary's womb. Amazing, The unborn was the first to proclaim the arrival of Christ!
Matthew 1:23 - Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
John 16:21 - When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.

  • First, the Word teaches that God carefully and lovingly formed us in the womb (Psalm 139:13-16).
  • Second, it teaches the personhood of the baby in the womb (Luke 1:41-42).
  • Third, it teaches the potential destiny of each child in the womb (Genesis 25:23; Jeremiah 1:5; Galatians 1:15).
  • Fourth, it teaches the importance of caring for "the least of these," the most vulnerable and hurting (Matthew 18:1-6, 10; 25:31-46).
  • Fifth, it teaches us to stand up for the innocent being led to slaughter (Proverbs 24:11-12).
  • Sixth, it teaches us that God hates the shedding of innocent blood, especially of babies (see, for example, Jeremiah 7:30-34; 17:1-6; Proverbs 6:17).

SEVEN REASONS I AM PRO-LIFE. I, Pastor Scott Lively, am Pro-Life...
  1. Because god wants me to be:
    • Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live.
  2. Because science proves that every baby is a unique human being from conception.
    • "To accept the fact that after fertilization has taken place a new human has come into being is no longer a matter of taste or opinion ... it is plain experimental evidence. Each individual has a very neat beginning, at conception." Dr. Jerome Lejeune, Father of Modern Genetics.
  3. Because the deliberate choice of abortion is just another name for murder.
    • According to The Model Penal Code of The American Law Institute, murder is "purposefully or knowingly killing another human being."
  4. Because American law and government rest upon a pro-life premise.
    • "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." The Declaration of Independence.
    The remaining three items are statements of self-evident truth:
  5. Because legalized abortion robs fathers of their fundamental rights as parents, and their biblical authority as heads of their households.
  6. Because women are degraded and harmed by the choice to kill their own children.
  7. Because even in the case of rape or incest, a child must never be required to pay for the sins of his father.
