This video (and corresponding essay published at scottlively.net) are timed to coincide with the anniversary of Colonel Henry Knox's January 24, 1776 arrival in Cambridge, Mass with nearly fifty pieces of heavy artillery he spent three months hauling from Fort Ticonderoga in upstate New York through the frozen wilderness -- equipping General George Washington to end the British occupation of Boston, the first major victory of the Revolutionary War.
