It's official, the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing did not vote the bill H4813 out favorably so it will NOT pass into law. They sent it to study which means it does not move forward. H4813 would have removed the religious exemption to school vaccinations and would have tracked all medical exemptions.
This is amazing news. All the phone calls made, e-mails sent, petitions signed, rallies attended, legislators met with and testimony given, sent a clear message to legislators that we do not want them to infringe on our fundamental rights to make our own health decisions or our exercise of religious freedom.

Despite the lack of data and two failed clinical trials, Pfizer keeps pushing the FDA to grant an emergency use authorization for children 6 months through 4 years of age. Babies and young children don't have a voice, so it's up to parents to protect them.
